SafeDial · call protection managed by family

The call already happened.
The next one goes differently.

SafeDial screens every call to your parent's phone, stays on the line while they talk, and ends a scam call the moment it shows itself - then sends you the full story. Same number, same phone, nothing new for them to learn.

Reserve a founding-family spot - $25 Not ready? Get updates

Deposit is fully refundable, anytime. Service is $35/month once your family is live.

You find out during - not weeks later on a bank statement.

When SafeDial ends a scam call, your parent hears a short, calm message letting them know everything is okay. You get an alert on your phone within minutes, with the transcript and the reason the call was stopped.

An example of the alert you'd receive.

Phones warn. SafeDial acts.

Every phone maker now flags suspicious calls. A warning assumes the person holding the phone can judge it and act on it in the moment - and if that were a safe assumption for your family, you wouldn't be reading this at this hour.

Present during the call, not just at the ring

Scams don't happen when the phone rings. They happen three minutes in, in a warm and convincing human voice. SafeDial listens for the pressure - secrecy, urgency, gift cards, wire transfers - while the call is live.

Nothing for your parent to judge or press

When a call turns into a scam, SafeDial ends it. There's no button for your parent to find and no decision for them to make while someone is working on them.

The family sees everything

Transcripts, voicemail summaries you can listen to, and the reasoning behind every flag - sent to you, wherever you live. You manage it all remotely, without touching their phone again after setup.

How it works

A setup call with the founder - about 20 minutes

We check your parent's phone plan first (call forwarding rides their carrier plan, and we confirm it's included before anything changes), install the SafeDial app on their phone, and turn everything on together.

Nothing changes for your parent

Same phone number. Same phone. The same green button they've answered for years. Real calls from family, doctors, and friends ring through exactly as before.

Everything changes for you

A dashboard for the trusted-caller list, spoken summaries of voicemails, and an alert the moment something is wrong - instead of a story you piece together afterward.

Founding families

$35 /month, when your service begins

SafeDial is onboarding its first ten families now - each one set up personally, in the Lower Mainland or remotely anywhere in Canada. Founding families get direct access to the founder and a real say in what gets built.

What the $25 deposit is - and isn't

  • A place in line for the first ten spots, fully refundable anytime, no questions.
  • Credited to your first month, or returned to your card - your call.
  • Not a subscription. You will never be charged again without saying yes first.
Reserve your family's spot - $25

Payment handled by Stripe. You'll get a receipt by email.

I'm Alexandre. I build SafeDial in Port Moody, BC, and I'll set your family up myself. I'm building it in the open, with the first families rather than for them - if you'd rather ask questions before putting anything down, write me and I'll answer personally.

Straight answers

Does my parent get a new phone number?

No. Their number stays exactly the same, and so does their phone. SafeDial works through call forwarding on their existing line.

Does my parent have to learn anything new?

No. Calls ring and answer on the same screen they already know. SafeDial was designed so that the person it protects never has to operate it.

What phones does it work with?

iPhone and Android. During setup we also confirm their phone plan supports call forwarding - most current Canadian postpaid plans include it, and we check yours before anything changes.

Is someone listening to my parent's calls?

Software screens live calls for scam patterns - not people. Ordinary calls are discarded after they end. Only calls flagged as scams are kept for your review, and you can delete those too.

What if a real call gets flagged by mistake?

SafeDial only ends a call on high-confidence signs of a scam. Anything merely odd continues normally while you get a quiet heads-up, and every decision comes with its reasoning so you can correct the trusted-caller list in one tap.

Who is behind this?

SafeDial is built by Vector Doc, a company in Port Moody, British Columbia. The founder personally sets up every founding family.
